A huge THANK YOU to fiskars!!!!

Fiskars sooooo generously sent a couple dozen scissors for my altered art classes and a huge Anvil Cutter

I have no idea how i ever prepped class kits before this trimmer appeared in my house....I can cut 50 sheets  of card stock at a time. INSANE!!!! The amoount of time i have been saving is unreal....seriously. 

I had a brainstorm about how to personalize my scissors so that i dont lose them in my travels....i needed a way to identify mine precious fiskars. What better way to do it than with a bit of spray paint and a vintage doily

worked like a charm!

they look so cool in my metal bowl....

Wicked Altered Book Class

Wickedly Awesome Halloween Wreath Class

Join Marah at her home in Oceanside and create this super cool Halloween wreath made from recycled vintage book pages (the sample was made with an old Sherlock Holmes book and vintage spanish text book) you will leave class with a super cool wreath....you will have several centers to choose from(if you arent into skulls)...spider, raven, witch on a broom etc.

you only need to bring a glue gun and glue sticks (i prefer the mini gun but any type will work)
I will provide everything else.

A little something for you

I made this Composition book today....and i am going to send it off to a lucky someone who comments about some of their fav things to create with stencils, on this post....I will have Miss Maddy pull the winner tomorrow after school....Kind of a spur of the moment thingy.

There are soooo many layers to look at...starting with the collage of vintage book pages, spray painted stencils, and some secret paint techniques over the stencils....suffice it to say your book is very shimmery in person. my hope is that you will use it to hold your inspirations for creativity.

Its gonna be a first--Make-n-Takes at 1am

I am doing a make n take at Ever Afters Survivor Crop from 1-3:30 am...yes i did say AM! I am going to be loopy for sure which will make it all the more fun.

I am told that through out the event several make n takes will be going on...all are 6x6 pages for a mini album....we were given 3 colors...HOT PINK (so me!) BLACK (totally me) and WHITE (not so me) and here is what i came up with.
